Hi!

I’m Zuzu (she/her), a children’s book illustrator based in San Francisco, currently seeking representation.

As a former elementary school teacher, I’ve always been passionate about telling stories from children’s perspectives, especially those whose voices are often unheard.

I enjoy blending traditional media such as gouache and colored pencils with digital editing, often playing with textures and limited color palettes to build mood and clarity. My work is often described as playful and engaging.

When I’m not drawing, I enjoy hiking in the Bay Area, reading, and making silly animations, like my website logo you’re looking at!
