Teaching with San Mateo County Libraries
For two years, I’ve loved hosting mindful calligraphy workshops for the San Mateo community. I enjoy providing structure and scaffolding so participants, from young kids to elders, feel safe to loosen up and explore. Seeing their inky marks transform into something uniquely theirs, emotional, playful, and expressive, reminds me how powerful hands-on art can be. In this AI era, it’s my way to celebrate cultural heritage, and connect with diverse communities through teaching and shared practice.
