San Pablo library was my second home. Whenever I had to return books after the due date, Elaine and her staff were super kind that I always felt I owed them so much! One day I finally got the courage to ask if there’s anything I could do for them. And that’s how I hosted my first sketchbooking event with San Pablo library. Kids had so much fun reading the picture book “invisible things” with me and doodling their feelings. One kid who couldn’t help crying at first told me at the end of the event, “this library is the best!” That was one of the workshops I still feel proud of and led to many other possibilities.
